Drawing a line between doing what you like and making a profit from it is not at all the objective of this article. It is the extent to which some design sites have interfered with the user experience and the worth of their content by advertising to the point of insanity.
In the world of “design” there are a thousand different definitions, for a thousand different things. Yet one thing I have never seen being discussed, is the difference between the definitions of what we “designers” do. In my book, there are three different names, and they all have different meanings- yet their definitions do bleed into each other. Opinions are greatly appreciated on this topic.
